Tuition Exemptions & Reimbursement
This program may provide an exemption from some tuition and laboratory fees to eligible persons employed as a peace officer, EMT, or firefighter, or hold a position in either public administration or emergency management with the state or with a political subdivision of Texas.
Tuition reimbursement offers employees money for taking college courses while employed with the company. The employee will typically pay for their courses, and the employer reimburses these costs upon course completion. How much the employer decides to pay is up to the company’s policy.
