Program Overview
Our program is ideal for students who wish to start a career as an officer of the law, a criminal investigator, or in the correctional system. And our committed faculty of former police investigators and law enforcement officers have a combined 200 years of real-world criminal justice experience.
In our criminal Justice program, you’ll learn the latest crime fighting and investigation techniques from the men and women who worked in the field. Our criminal justice faculty members include former police officers, federal law enforcement officers, police chiefs, crime scene investigators, and homicide detectives.
Tuition Exemption for Peace Officers
This program may provide an exemption from some tuition and laboratory fees to eligible persons employed as a Peace Officer by the state of Texas or by a political subdivision of Texas.

Be a part of one of the largest student organizations on campus. We bring in special speakers to discuss topics in criminal justice, as well as take trips around the country to further your education.
