Dual Credit Registration Steps

Talk to HS Counselor (or Home School students meet with a member of the Dual Credit staff)

• Talk to your high school counselor and review eligibility to take dual credit courses.
• If you are a homeschooler, then contact the Office of School Partnerships for a consultation.
• Review the admissions and registration process with the counselor.

Apply to TJC as a Dual Credit/Early College Student

• Submit Meningitis Vaccination verification (PDF).
• Submit test scores. (TSI, ACT, SAT, STAAR, PSAT)
• Complete the DC/ECHS Online Orientation.
• APPLY TO TJC

Complete Academic or CTE Advising

• Contact Academic Advising for a face-to-face appointment
• Attend a group advising session at TJC or at the HS
• Online Advising

Submit Dual Credit /Early College HS Form

• Submit the Student/Parent Consent Form (PDF) at dualcredit@tjc.edu or 903-510-2601 fax.
• Complete the Registration Request.

Pay for Your Dual Credit Classes

• Check balance on Apache Access
• Pay through the online payment system or by coming to the TJC Cashiers Office on the TJC Central Campus by the posted deadline. 

Need to Make a Change

• At a high school: work through your high school counselor
• Home school: complete the Registration Change Form (PDF) and submit to dualcredit@tjc.edu.
