Summer Financial Aid FAQ
You will receive your refund after the start of the semester in which you reach six combined credit hours for summer, but no earlier than the 2nd week of summer I.
For example: You register for a 3-hour course in Summer I, and a 3-hour course in Summer II. You will receive your financial aid refund in Summer II.
Refunds will begin being disbursed the week following the official reporting day for Summer I.
If you’ve accepted the maximum amount of direct loans for the fall and spring semesters, you will not have any remaining loan funds.
Check your Apache Access Financial Aid Dashboard for all updates. If an item is yellow, it requires an action from you.

Yes, you’ll need to complete the FAFSA for the current school year to receive any financial aid for the summer terms at TJC.
