More than 1,200 students live in one of our eight residence halls on the TJC Central campus. Residents from all backgrounds, cultures, lifestyles and attitudes are welcomed and enjoy a unique opportunity to interact with a large, diverse group of people while being in the heart of on-campus activities.
Bateman Hall
Built in 1968, Bateman Hall is a three-story coed residence hall that is home to 156 freshmen and returning students. The first & second floor is coed by wing and the third-floor houses includes the TJC golf and baseball teams. The hall is managed by an RD (Resident Director) who is assisted by four RAs (Resident Advisor). Bateman Hall is located behind the main Residential Life and Housing office building and faces Magnolia Drive. It is the closest hall to the new Robert M. Rogers Nursing and Health Sciences Center on the west side of the main TJC campus.

Claridge Hall
Built in 1964, Claridge Hall received a $1 million renovation in 2017. It’s a two-story coed residence hall which houses 76 TJC athletes – members of the TJC men’s basketball and soccer teams and TJC’s women’s basketball and volleyball teams. The Hall is managed by an RD (Resident Director) and four RAs (Resident Advisor). Claridge Hall is located next to Sledge Hall on Baxter Avenue on the west side of the main TJC campus.

Crossroads Hall
TJC’s Newest Residence Hall opened in Fall 2015! A prime location on the west side of campus, between Baxter St. and Magnolia Dr., means residents will have an easy walk to the new Robert M. Rogers Nursing and Health Sciences Center and the main campus. The 4-floor hall houses 248 student – both freshmen and returning students. The first and second floors are reserved for males and the third and fourth floor reserved for females. There are no coed floors in Crossroads. The building is managed by an Area Coordinator who is assisted by six RAs (Resident Advisor).

Holley Hall
Holley Hall is located on the main TJC campus between the Rogers Student Center and Vaughn Library. Built in 1969, Holley Hall is a two-story coed residence hall home to 58 first-year students and returning students. The hall is managed by an RD (Resident Director) and two RAs (Resident Advisor).

Hudnall Hall
Built in 1982, Hudnall Hall is a two-story residence hall which houses 88 members of the TJC Apache football team. The Hall is managed by an RD (Resident Director) and four RAs (Resident Advisor). Hudnall Hall is located on Baxter Avenue on the north side of the main TJC campus.

Ornelas Hall Complex
Built in 2008, the Ornelas Hall Complex is the largest residence hall on campus. It has two, four-story building, which houses 430 students. In the A (front) building, the first & third floor is home to male and female non-affiliated residents, the second floor is coed by wing and reserved for the Presidential Honors program. On the fourth floor are the Apache Belles. In the B (back) building, the first floor is reserved for non-affiliated male students and the second and third floors are for non-affiliated females. The fourth floor is coed by wing and is home to TJC Apache Band members and other residents in the performing arts.

Sledge Hall
Built in 1977, Sledge Hall received a $1million renovation in 2017. It’s a two-story residence hall built around a courtyard which houses 68 female TJC athletes — members of the women’s softball, soccer, tennis and golf teams. The Hall is managed by an RD (Resident Director) and two RAs (Resident Advisor). Sledge Hall is located on Baxter Avenue on the west side of the main TJC campus.

Vaughn Hall
Built-in 1959, Vaughn Hall is one of the oldest halls on campus. It is a two-story coed residence hall that is home to 44 freshmen and returning students. The hall is managed by a Senior RA and two RAs (Resident advisors). Vaughn Hall is located on the main TJC campus next to Holley Hall, between the Rogers Student Center and Vaughn Library.
