Program Overview
Approximately 50 Theatre/Musical Theatre majors come to TJC annually for an aggressive, action-packed two-year program designed to offer students multiple performance and technical opportunities, a wealth of experience, growth and maturity, exciting challenges and fulfillment of hard work well done.
The Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in Theatre is designed to give students a well-rounded experience. You’ll take courses suitable for your interests in performance, technical theatre and/or education.
Musical Theatre majors participate in a sequence of courses in Theatre, Voice and Dance. These students develop their skills through time spent in the classroom and workshops and through varied performance opportunities.
