TJC art students win scholarships at symposium

Three Tyler Junior College art students were awarded scholarships from the Professional Practices Symposium held recently at The University of Texas at Tyler.

Priscila Lopez, a sophomore art major from Tyler, won a $2,000 scholarship. She will graduate from TJC in Spring 2020 and transfer to UT Tyler in Fall 2020.
 
Paul Iley, a freshman art major from Grand Saline, won a $1,000 scholarship. He will graduate from TJC in Spring 2021 and transfer to UT Tyler in Fall 2021.
 
Lora Waggoner, a sophomore art major from Tyler, won a $1,000 scholarship. She will graduate from TJC in Fall 2020 and transfer to UT Tyler in Spring 2021.
 
The symposium was hosted by the UT Tyler Department of Art and Art History.
