“Of course, it can lead to those professions,” said Dr. David Hubbard, TJC behavioral sciences department chair, “but understanding the human mind and behavior can also be a starting point for other career paths, including public relations, media, human resources and law enforcement.”
TJC will offer a closer look at these programs during a free Behavioral Sciences Showcase, set from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the Southside Bank Room (Room 131), in the Robert M. Rogers Nursing & Health Sciences Center, on the TJC main campus.
Speakers will include TJC professors:
• Clint Selman, psychology
• Stephanie Lassanske, social work
• Dr. Ryan Button, sociology
The event is open to the public. Parking is free.
