For residents to the south of Tyler, there are TJC-Jacksonville and TJC-Rusk. TJC-Jacksonville, (N. Ragsdale, Jacksonville), offers a 20-student vocational nurse education program as well as a transitional program for registered nurses who wish to qualify as associate degree nursing graduates. Core curriculum courses are also offered at TJC-Jacksonville, which is located on the fourth floor of UT Health Jacksonville.

TJC-Rusk is the newest addition to TJC’s expanded array of credit instructional sites and offers a 20-student vocational nurse education program to serve East Texas. TJC-Rusk’s new location will soon be downtown (173 S Henderson Street, Rusk, Texas 75785), just a short walk from the Cherokee County Courthouse.
