Work Out at the TJC Apache Recreation Center
The TJC Apache Recreation Center features a new 18-hole, par 56 disc golf course, a covered basketball court, a weight and exercise center, an outdoor ping pong table, and corn hole.
The Apache Recreation Center is located at 1914 E. Devine St., at the northeast corner of TJC’s Central Campus, and is just a few steps away from the Murphy Tennis Court and Ornelas Residential Hall.

The Apache Recreation Center features:
- Large indoor weight room and workout center
- TJC Disc Golf outdoor 18-hole, par-56 disc golf course

- Outdoor ping pong and cornhole

Summer Hours beginning May 12, 2025

Fridays: 6 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: Closed
TJC Disc Golf: Open from dawn to dusk, seven days per week.

If you would like to get involved with Intramural Sports at TJC…
You will need to provide staff your vaild TJC ID to exchange for the desired equipment.
Everyday from dawn until dusk.
No, but we offer storage cubicles near the front door that are monitored by our staff.
Unfortunately we do not offer an area for our patrons to shower.
- Clothing: Patrons must wear shirts/tops that fully cover the chest area and shorts long enough to cover the buttocks and groin areas while moving through the full range of motion. Clothing that is sheer and/or transparent must not expose the chest, buttocks or groin area. Undergarments (including sports bras) must be covered by an additional layer of clothing.
- Footwear: Patrons must wear athletic, close-toe/close-heel, non-marking rubber-soled shoes in specified activity areas.
