TJC College District is Certified through SEVP (Student Exchange and Visitor Program) for international students to obtain F-1 Student VISA.

Follow the following steps to apply as an International student at TJC, and contact the International Student Office via email at international@tjc.edu to inquire, if you have questions while completing the International Admission process.

How to Apply

Students from foreign countries seeking F-1 student VISA to attend TJC must complete the International Student Admission process. The entire process must be completed before the International Admission office be able to Issue the SEVIS I-20 to complete the Admission Process.

International students must obtain an F-1 student visa through the U.S. Consulate in their home country before arriving in the United States. Enrollment Steps

Apply to TJC

Submit application at tjc.edu/apply and complete all admissions requirements.

Apply to Live on Campus

Join the over 1,200 students living on campus. Rooms go quickly so apply and complete a separate Housing application early. Members of a TJC-affiliated team or group (Athletics, Band, Belles, Honors) must complete an application but do have rooms blocked by sponsors and coaches. Get Advised

Once you’ve applied and been accepted to TJC, you can speak with an advisor to determine which courses to take. Transfer students are not required to meet with an advisor before class registration.

Register for Classes

To register your classes, first choose your courses and log into Apache Access to enroll for the semester. 

Secure Payment for Tuition and Fees

  • Pay online through your Apache Access account: Under “Quick Links”, choose the link Statement and Payment History. At the bottom of the page, select Make a Payment. You may either choose the installment plan option or pay in full with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover.
  • Pay in person at the Cashier’s office, located on the first floor of the White Administrative Services Center (WASC), with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover; check; cash or money order.
  • Pay by phone with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover to the Cashier’s office at 903-510-2672.
  • Pay by mail with a personal check made out to TJC for the correct amount of tuition and fees. Include the student’s ID number and mail to:

Checks must be mailed 5 days before the payment due date so they can be processed before the deadline.

Statement of Understanding/Mailing Address

Students must read carefully before signing the Statement of Understanding. When signing, they are agreeing to each statement before being considered for admission.

Please read carefully and initial each statement on the blank in front of the statement.

On the second page, please provide your physical mailing address and your city of birth for the completion of your I-20.
